ABATE of WASHINGTON
Richard Johnson (Rambo) Memorial Service 11/26/06

The turn out for the EPCC Downed Rider Rambo, was outstanding about 100 people. Flagman said he counted 25 bikes parked in front of the Wilkeson Eagles Club. The rest of the people came in cars trucks or with friends due to the bad winter weather that day. I was very glad to see the Love, Loyalty & Respect for my good friend & ABATE of WA brother Rambo.

A Big thanks, goes out to all the people that stepped up to help & work to make this a very special day for Rambo’s Surviving Family Members. Especially the Wilkeson Eagles Club & Jimbo & Doug of ABATE WA EPCC. Also thanks to American Custom Cycle & Maggie Tetrick for all your help. Oh yes lets not forget Linda Kay at All American Embroidery, for making the Rambo Memory of Patch. “Thank you Linda!”

This is what the Brotherhood & Sister hood are all about!
Stepping up to help your brother or sister in there time of need.
Together on that Sunday we Raised $500.00 to help the Family.

It was Rambo that got me involved in the politics of ABATE. The first time I met Rambo, He had drink in one hand an ABATE application in his other hand. Then Rambo talked me into transferring to EPCC. It was also Rambo that talked me in to going to my first S.T.E.A.M. of ABATE of WA.” We had a blast, That weekend!”

But one thing was always on his mine, ABATE of WA
he always carried and passed out ABATE applications.
If everyone in ABATE did the same this organization
would be 10 times size that it is today.

I will miss my little buddy ( Rambone ).

To know Rambo was to know a true brother of the wind. He was a free spirit to say the least! He always had a smile, & yes he usually had a drink and a smoke in his hand.

“Maybe he was Dean Martin, reincarnated!”

I was proud to call Rambo my friend, When others ridiculed me for doing things on the Internet that they did not understand at times. Rambo always stood by my side as my true friend. He would always get me to smile and push on with my plans for ABATE of WA.

Fallen Brother hold that engine tight between your knees. Hand upon the throttle, chin always in the breeze. Keep that motor Rollin’ Never mind the load, Ride to keep that hot date with the far end of the road.
