The House Governement Appropriation & Oversight Committee has scheduled a Public Hearing on February 15th at 8AM for the Profiling Bill.
This hearing will differ significantly from the hearing in the House Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Committee.
The Purpose of this hearing is to examine the Fiscal Note that was submitted by Law Enforcement. The WSP has reflected very little ($5K) impact for training of personnel; on the other side of the same Fiscal Note the Washington Association of Police and Sheriff’s are projecting better than $2.7M over a 5 year period (2012-17).
Anyone who is available to attend should sign in to testify in favor of the bill.
This should prove to be a worthwhile hearing to witness in person.
Mr. Breeze
