Every penny of the renewal
endorsement fees go to the program. Original/initial endorsement
is split as above however ZERO dollars from the endorsement fees
goes to the State Patrol.
If you recall the $5 application
fee currently goes to the Highway Safety Fund but legislation has
been submitted to have that $5 go to the motorcycle safety fund and
the $10 for document preparation goes to the contract company that
prepares the licensing documents for the state.
At renewal the
entire $25 goes to the motorcycle fund.
State Patrol gets it's money from Vehicle Registration from Cars
and bikes.
