The turn out for the 26th Annual Dice Throw Run was very good considering the overcast, threatening-to-rain weather. We had 98 paid entries and probably a few additional along for the ride. Alfred's Cafe did a great job getting everyone served, and their parking lot was plenty large to accomodate all the bikes. I don't know of anyone having mechanical problems except for a loose battery connection on Astro's bike, which was remedied on the spot. Everyone seemed to be having a very enjoyable day, which is the very reason we ride. Turns out our weather concerns were for naught, as we stayed dry for the entire run.

Ending at the Right Spot and tallying all the scores, we had the following: First place with 49 points was Slow Charlie. Second place with 44 points was Frank Burton. Third place with 42 points was Reese from SKCC. Sucking worst was Bear Isaac with 24 points. The 50/50 winner was Frank Burton, who took home $231 in addition to his second place award. He had just joined Tacoma Chapter at the start. We apparently treat our new members well. Thanks to Lenny, the owner of the Right Spot, who donated two gift certificates which were won by Mark Glover and Becky McMichael. The largest group/chapter, most supportive award went to Tacoma HOG with 16 members. Thanks a bunch to everyone who was part of our event. Tacoma Chapter appreciates the support.
