You don't have to be a member of Tacoma Chapter or ABATE of Washington to sit-in at our meetings. Just drop in on a meeting night, they're FREE and open to everyone. (To have a vote, you do gotta join.) You do not have to own or ride a motorcycle to participate in ABATE's activities, and you are welcome to participate on ANY make, model, motorcycle or trike you may ride.
The VFW hall is located on the corner of East McKinley Avenue & East Harrison Street. There is fenced parking provided behind the building and security cameras all around it. Meetings are held upstairs (see the 2nd story windows in the picture of the VFW building, above). After the meeting some stick around and socialize downstairs as guests of the VFW lounge until 10 PM.

Our Social meeting is where members gather informally and get better acquainted with others in the chapter, the local HOG club, which holds a social there every Wednesday, or anyone else who drops by. Its a great opportunity to renew a membership, pick up a flyer or newsletter, or simply get out of the house on a weeknight.
No official chapter business is conducted at this meeting, however, collective brain-storming occasionally occurs.
