A friend of ours recently moved to Prescott with her husband and three children, and she asked me where families usually go for church. They are hoping to find somewhere friendly with children’s activities and opportunities to meet other parents. Hey! Congrats to your friend on the move, Prescott’s got a ton of family-focused churches, but one that really stands out for kids + parent connections is The Prescott AZ Sunday church service . We started visiting there last year after our kiddo kept asking, “Where are the other kids?” Their Sunday school runs 9:30 a.m. for ages 3–18, and they’ve got nursery for under-3s at every service, so we could actually sit through worship without doing crowd control. What sold us, though, was the foyer hang after morning service coffee, quick intros, and a “new families” table where we met another couple with similar-age kids within two weeks.
One Saturday they hosted a youth rally at their One80º Event Center, and our teen came home buzzing about the music and games; meanwhile, my spouse chatted with a dad who’s now our go-to for preschool swap-playdates.
